Have you read my article earlier about racing motocross for $1000? Well, this Sunday is the perfect time to start with the Hell on Wheels Vintage Scrambles. Not only do they make up classes as they go along (based on who/what shows up), but they also always have special classes for minibikes, scooters, first timers, and women, plus run what you brung for any motorcycle. And if you want to see something really funny, you need to watch a pack of scooters race in the dirt on a motocross track.
Everybody knows it's more fun to ride a scooter with a buddy!

Minibikes are fun no matter how big of a kid you are!
They don't have a ladies class because they are sexist, they do it so a girl can share her bike with her beau. Many of the women race in both the ladies and the open classes.

Unfortunately, my much abused Husky 400 may not be running in time for Sunday's event, but I still have the 125cc Honda.
The event takes place Milestone MX Park in Riverside, CA and racing should start around noon. Don't show up before 9am because you can't get in the gate. You can get more information on the Facebook Event page, or download the entry form here, or pre-pay for your entry here. Meatball puts on a unique event with live music, fun races, and even a beauty contest, but the organization may be a bit lax.
Pick up this Yamaha 175 on the way to the track and you are all set.
