Triumph Originals Custom Contest Will Bring Eight Unique Motorcycle Builds

Triumph Motorcycles has long been at the heart of custom motorcycle culture, and with Triumph Originals 2025, the brand is giving that culture another big push. This global challenge invites teams from eight countries—UK, USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, France, Italy, and Thailand—to create the ultimate custom Bonneville, inspired by the theme "Icons of British Originality."

The competition is a celebration of what makes the Bonneville such a great canvas for creative expression: its iconic design and modern engineering that’s been reimagined time and again in the custom scene.

For decades, the Bonneville has stood as a symbol of individuality, appearing everywhere from Hollywood blockbusters to fashion catwalks, and from James Bond to David Beckham. It’s a bike that transcends just being a motorcycle; it’s part of a larger cultural conversation, one that’s been shaped by the riders, builders, and fans who continually push the limits of what’s possible.

Triumph Originals is the perfect stage to see this legacy evolve, as the eight teams collaborate with custom builders to craft bikes that capture the essence of British style while pushing creative and engineering boundaries.

Each team will work with a hand-picked custom builder from their region to create a truly one-off Bonneville. These bikes will be judged on five key qualities: Iconic Style, British Originality, Creativity and Innovation, Craftsmanship, and The Ride.

Once the builds are revealed in June of this year, an expert panel will select five finalists, and the public will have the final say in choosing the Triumph Original 2025 winner.
