First Honda updated the Forza line, and now it’s time for the SH300i to get an update. As scooter fans in most places outside North America may already know, the Honda SH 350i is almost ready to make its worldwide debut.Â
As any OEM worth its salt does this time of year, Honda is more than happy to tease us with videos like this one, giving small glimpses into key details of what we’ll see at the official unveiling. The wraps come off for real on November 10, 2020, which is also when we’ll hopefully have more information about the larger-displacement engine. Is it the same Euro 5-compliant, 330cc, liquid-cooled single found in the Forza 350? We won’t have to wait too long to find out.Â
Most of what we see in this video focuses on the restyled front end of the new SH. The headlight lines look particularly sharp, crisp, and more modern than those found on the outgoing SH300i. That bike already had LED lights, Honda SmartKey functionality, and a thoughtful windscreen with built-in handguards, so there’s little mystery surrounding whether those features will carry over to the new model. Â
The dash looks bright, thoughtfully laid out, and uncluttered—although, of course, some of the brightness could have been enhanced to make it look as good as possible in this video. It’s also not clear what other important details may have changed, such as what the seat is like for both rider and passenger—and of course, how capacious the on-board storage is. Sure, you can always add a top box, but one of the nicest things about a scooter like this is knowing you can stick your everyday carry under the seat. Â
We’ll know all the details in just under two weeks, so we’ll definitely keep you updated once it’s officially unveiled. Â
