WP Unveils New XPLOR PRO 6500 Cartridge For Off-Road Rippers
KTM, Husky, and GasGas riders unite!
The original WP suspension found on KTM, Husqvarna, and GasGas models will do the trick for most riders. On the other hand, those that push the limits tend to go for after-purchase upgrades or the premium variants like the 890 Adventure R Rally or the 450 Rally Replica. After releasing the XPLOR PRO Shock a month ago, WP Suspension is completing its high-spec component range with the new XPLOR PRO 6500 cartridge.
If you’re undaunted by whoops, berms, doubles, or steep climbs, WP’s latest front end suspension may be tailor-made for your style of riding. Thanks to the closed cartridge technology, the pressurized compartments prevent damping loss over time and maintains a consistent damping rate. With preload and compression adjusted at the top of the fork tubes, riders can easily tweak settings between sessions or before a challenging stretch of terrain. Users can also fine-tune damping on the fly with an adjuster at the bottom of the fork leg.
WP’s continued success in motocross and enduro competitions, the XPLOR Pro 6500 system benefits from data collected on the race circuit. However, the drop-in cartridges are an easy way to upgrade your suspension to the highest performance level. For KTM owners, the XPLOR Pro will fit the 250, 350, 450, and 500 EXC-F, the 150, 250, and 300 WC-W, and 350 and 500 XCF-Ws from 2017 onward. Husky riders on a TE (150, 250, 300) or a 2017-21 FE/s (250, 350, 450, 501) can also move up to the premium suspension while 2021 GasGas 300 EC owners join the club as well.
The XPLOR PRO 6500 cartridge will be available at authorized WP sellers on November 2, 2020. If you’re looking for a way to upgrade your ride during the winter months, WP’s latest suspension could put a spring in your step come next riding season.
