As we ramp up for the launch of RideApart.com we're looking for a little help. Specifically, the kind of help we don't have to pay, but can enact merciless abuse upon. Serious about creating a career for yourself in media or e commerce? Want to learn how to start your own company? This is a great place to start

Who: Motivated, hard-working, responsible people who can contribute some expertise and want to learn more about editorial, marketing, business development, photography, production and logistics by getting their hands dirty. Expect to work across several of those areas, but we need people who can build spreadsheets as much as we need people who can write and take photos. Experience with motorcycles and an M1 license would be helpful, but aren't required.

What: An unpaid internship. Yes, there's a possibility of a paid position at the end of it, but we'll be honest, that possibility is slim. Expect to work regular business hours or longer, be able to provide your own laptop and other professional tools as well as transport to and from the office. No, you will not get to ride free motorcycles.

When: We're looking for people that can start immediately or in the near future and give us at least a couple days a week for a minimum commitment of at least three months.

Where: We're looking for people that can work out of our new office in Culver City, Los Angeles, but are also interested in candidates who can contribute remotely from other locations.

Why: RideApart is bringing a true 21st century consumer portal to Powersports for the first time. This is your opportunity to work closely with the small team that's building the company, which means you'll get to learn a diverse range of skills in a fast-paced environment. The team brings decades of experience from consumer automotive, editorial, business and publishing, so you'll leave with relationships, contacts and recommendations with and from recognized names in those worlds.

How: email a resume, a brief description of what makes you perfect for the role and your availability to info at rideapart dot com.
