CSC Launches Yet Another Model
Among motorcycle brands, CSC is hardly a familiar name. Yet.
But its founders are industry vets in the Harley aftermarket parts business, and owners of the California Scooter Company, which produced the modern version of the Mustang scooter. Last year they debuted the RX3 adventure-touring model, and earlier this year came the RC3 and TT250. Now it's the RZ3, a nudie version of the faired RC. All models are built to CSC specs by Zongshen in China.
The four models share a 250cc OHC, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, counterbalanced single with a 6-speed transmission.
“We’re pleased to add this fourth 250cc motorcycle to our line of high-quality, value-priced motorcycles,” said CSC Motorcycles President Steve Seidner. “The styling of the new RZ3 is extremely attractive, and with our proven liquid-cooled 250cc engine, this bike is very exciting.”
The purchase of any CSC motorcycle includes extensive online maintenance tutorials, a shop manual, and customer support. CSC offers a complete parts inventory and accessory line for each of its motorcycles, and a two-year, unlimited mileage warranty.
“We’ve completed long-distance tours through the western United States, Mexico, South America, and most recently, China,” Seidner said. “Our customers know that CSC motorcycles are built to go the distance, and we’ve proven that with our long-distance rides. These are fine motorcycles, and we are proud to offer them here in North America."
More than a few industry insiders, journalists and employees of other companies who don't care to be quoted, have been impressed with the fit and finish, build quality, performance and price of the CSC imports.
The Azusa, California, company is accepting pre-order deposits on the RZ3, and offering free setup and shipping within the continental United States. The RZ3 price is $3,495, and the motorcycle will be available prior to the end of the year. For more info visit CSCMotorcycles.com
