Six Sailor Jerry-inked H-D Softails up for Grabs
The American Legends bike giveaway is your chance to own a Sailor Jerry-inspired Harley-Davidson Street Bob Softail, minus the commitment of ink.
Get a chance to combine your love of tattoos and motorcycles without the commitment of ink
Is there a better pairing than Harley-Davidsons and tattoos? Besides peanut butter and jelly, obviously. No need to face your fear of needles to live the dream, though. You could own a piece of art that embodies the most American duo there is: a Sailor Jerry Harley-Davidson.
SOMETHING USED: Harley-Davidson Used In Terminator 2 Hits Auction Block
The giveaway celebrates veteran artist and Navy officer Norman Collins’—Sailor Jerry himself—work, as well as the overhaul of the Harley-Davidson Street Bob for 2018.
For this model year, the Street Bob receives quite a few upgrades including a new, lighter frame—17 pounds lighter to be specific—and suspension. It is powered by a Milwaukee-Eight 107 twin engine. The more traditional H-D color scheme has been replaced by the colorful ideas of a few artists of the needle.
SOMETHING BLUE: Blue Edition is a Near $2M Harley Softail Slim
The “My work speaks for itself” competition invited artists to submit their own retro tattoo-inspired paint scheme. A panel of celebrity judges decided on the six winners who got to see their work come to life on the body of the Softails. The motorcycles have each received a customized paint job, sporting iconic designs such as pin-ups, bald eagles, skulls, and hearts. The designs were unveiled at the Elm Street Tattoo & Music Festival in Dallas TX.
SOMETHING NEW: The Crew 2 To Feature Harley-Davidson Street Glide
The bikes will now find a home in the garage of one of the American Legends bike giveaway winners. The contest ends on September 3rd, 2018. To enter, visit the Sailor Jerry website. Here’s your chance to go full-on Sons of Anarchy, ideally minus the criminal activities.
