Harley and Indian Play in the Dirt in Icon Video

While the motorcycling industry as a whole has struggled to adapt to the modern, internet driven world, Icon Motorsports has wholeheartedly embraced the social media era. On top of churning out some truly stellar viral videos on its Youtube channel, (seriously, who doesn’t remember those epic Motorcycle vs. Car Drift Battle videos), the Portland-based gear purveyor has set the standard in branded content in the motorcycle industry, and Icon’s latest video, entitled “Dos Trackers” is no exception.

The Icon 1000 Tasty Butterscotch Suzuki Bandit

The two minute clip features professional hooligans Rob Carpenter and Tony Carbajal sliding around the desert on custom trackers with Carpenter piloting his modified Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 while Carbajal rides his custom Indian Scout Sixty 1000 tracker. Dos Trackers checks all the usual boxes; replete with plenty of footage of wheelies, drifting, donuts, and even a few small jumps. Plus the entire thing is beautifully filmed, we particularly like the tasteful drone footage.

Icon produced the video to highlight some of its new gear, including the BattleScar and Quicksilver liveries for the Variant helmet, as well as the Icon 1000 Varial textile jacket, and the Icon 1000 Basehawk leather/textile jacket. Unfortunately Carbajal would inadvertently put his icon digs to the test, when a nasty spill during filming left him with a concussion and what the rider calls “a very sad and twisted Indian Hooligan bike”.
