Top Gear's Richard Hammond and Long Way's Charley Boorman Are The Stars of This Moto Festival

Charley Boorman and Richard Hammond, two of the most famous motorcyclists of our generation, are headlining the Adventure Bike Rider Festival in the UK.

Richard Hammond and Charley Boorman are perhaps two of the most well-known motorcyclists on Earth. The former Top Gear presenter has always adored the two-wheeled machines, and took many a jab from his co-horts on the show over the years as he attempted to include them in the program.

And Charley Boorman, through his Long Way travels with his best pal Ewan McGregor, well, the man's literally gone around the world on the back of a motorcycle. Many, many, many times. Suffice it to say, these are two nerdy motorcyclists of the highest order, and motorcyclists with resumes as long as a CVS receipt.

So it's no wonder that they've been asked to be the keynote speakers at this year's Adventure Bike Rider Festival in the U.K., along with a host of other characters from around the industry. Here's what you need to know about the event, along with who else will be there, how to attend, and more.

Billed as the biggest motorcycle festival in the United Kingdom, Adventure Bike Festival goes from June 26th to the 28th and is located at Wragley Hall in Warwickshire, which is Northwest of London. And according to the festival's site, as well as a former attendee, "It's like Glastonbury with motorbikes and posh loos." So a concert atmosphere with nice toilets for those that don't speak the King's English.

As for the event itself, there's camping, a ton of live music, pub quizzes throughout the weekend, a total of 20 on-site bars, a metric tonne (see what I did there?) of motorcycles and riders, as well as fresh and free hot tea and coffee. There will also be exhibitors, vendors, and manufacturers showing up, too.

According to the organizers, "Held in the stunning grounds of the Ragley Hall Estate, Warwickshire, on the weekend of 26-28 June 2026, the Adventure Bike Rider Festival is the world’s greatest celebration of adventure motorcycling. It’s where thousands of like-minded riders and the motorcycle industry come together to make new memories and friends and experience three action-packed days of biking action and festival entertainment."

And then you have the panels.

What do you think?

ABR's organizers say there will be around 80 speakers over the handful of days across a number of stages, and those will include Boorman and Hammond, both of whom are headlining the festival. You can check out the full list of speakers here, but they include folks like KTM's lunatic-in-chief Chris Birch, actual knights of the empire, and more motorcyclists than you can shake a stick at.

Honestly, if I was in the U.K. for this event, I'd be attending, as it sounds like one heck of a party, and I'd love to listen to all the speakers tell their stories. That said, if Charley wants to come back and talk bikes, and if Richard has some time, I'm sure we can work something out.
