Honda has just revealed its 2027 FourTrax ATV lineup, and the big takeaway is pretty simple: while the powersports world keeps chasing bigger, flashier side-by-sides, Honda’s still betting on traditional ATVs built for actual work. The lineup returns with the compact Recon, versatile Rancher, hardworking Foreman 4x4, premium Foreman Rubicon, and range-topping Rubicon 700 4x4 Automatic.

Honda also continues building every FourTrax model in the USA. The machines are planned in Georgia, developed in Ohio, and assembled in Swepsonville, North Carolina using domestic and globally sourced parts.

The smallest model in the lineup remains the FourTrax Recon, which continues leaning into simplicity and reliability instead of overcomplication. Powered by a 229cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with shaft drive, the Recon is aimed at riders who need something light, maneuverable, and dependable for trail riding, ranch work, or property maintenance. Honda still offers it in standard and ES trims, the latter featuring the company’s long-running Electric Shift Program. Colors include Hero Red and Black Forest Green, while availability starts in October. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet.

The Rancher lineup continues serving as Honda’s do-everything midsize ATV platform. Buyers can choose between two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, manual or Honda Dual Clutch Transmission, plus optional Electric Power Steering and independent rear suspension depending on trim. Honda’s DCT system remains one of the standout features here because it combines automatic convenience with the direct mechanical connection of a conventional gearbox.

Pricing starts at $6,299 for the base Rancher, climbing to $9,649 for the fully loaded Rancher 4x4 Automatic DCT IRS EPS in camo trim. Colors include Hero Red, Black Forest Green, Sandstone Beige, and TrueTimber Atera Camo depending on version.

Meanwhile, the FourTrax Foreman 4x4 continues targeting buyers who prioritize towing, hauling, and durability above all else. Honda offers standard and EPS variants, with the latter getting speed- and torque-sensitive Electric Power Steering for reduced steering effort during long rides or rough terrain work. Pricing starts at $8,249, with availability beginning in June.

Further up the range sits the FourTrax Foreman Rubicon lineup, which blends heavier-duty utility capability with more premium trail-focused features. Honda offers three trims for 2027, including models equipped with DCT, EPS, and independent rear suspension. Pricing ranges from $9,799 to $10,999 depending on trim and finish.

At the top of the lineup sits the Rubicon 700 4x4 Automatic, Honda’s largest rec/utility ATV. Honda hasn’t released pricing yet, but the machine arrives in Hero Red and Matte Silver when sales begin in August.

What makes the 2027 FourTrax lineup so interesting is that Honda isn’t trying to reinvent the ATV. These machines are still focused on reliability, usability, and surviving years of abuse without drama. In today’s powersports market, that approach stands out more than ever.
