KTM 350 EXC-F in action

The 2011 KTM 350 EXC-F is significant because it represents a third way between the horsepower of a 450 and light weight of a 250, claiming it combines the power of the former with the weight of the latter. We scooped it along with the rest of the 2011 KTMs back in October, so figured we should be the first to bring you action photos and more info too.

This is a factory race bike, not a production model available to consumers, so what information there is is a little vague.

Here’s the official specs:

KTM actually says the EXC-F’s engine is quite different from that of the SX-F, which you can see in this video (we’re including it since there’s no video of the EXC-F yet).

"When compared to the 350 SX-F, this is a new DOHC power house that has been especially developed for Enduro. It features a new configuration of the cylinder head (valve timing, reduced compression ratio), heavier and stronger generator, new crank shaft with more inertia, a 6-speed Enduro transmission, clutch unit with an internal damping mechanisms and diaphragm spring. It also has a kick starter as well as the electric starter. Last but not least, the 350 EXC-F Factory is the first bike in the enduro competition range that is fitted with a new engine management system (EMS) made by Keihin, which features a 42 mm throttle body for the EFI."
