We were deeply saddened by hearing about the death of Kurt Caselli last Friday during the Baja 1000 in Mexico. We didn't know Kurt personally, but were big fans of his riding and have heard nothing but the best about a young guy who was incredibly well loved by all who met him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Kurt's friends and family. You can read more about the the incident and it's updates on Gawker's report located here.

Dirtbike magazine helped make this video, interviewing Kurt about his move into the Dakar series with KTM Europe and including some incredible riding footage. Make sure you watch the final sequence.

Thor made this video as a little tribute to Kurt. The number of videos like this online, by sponsors and fans alike, only add to the evidence that he was an amazing ambassador for the sport.

An awesome video chronicling Kurt's 2011 Championship, set to surprisingly nice music.

This is what you call "being a bad ass mother" (insert word here that I'll get yelled at for saying).

Our list wouldn't be complete with some helmet-cam action. No, this isn't sped up and, yes that wheelie at 2:40 is awesome.

Kurt was a huge inspiration to us here at RideApart, even more so now after spending some time watching interviews and videos of his riding. Stay safe guys and girls. The "dust that keeps getting in my eyes" after reading about how another amazing human is gone too soon.
