QOTD: What's the Most Important Thing About Track Riding That Nobody Tells You?

One of the most important things to understand about riding motorcycles is that there is a time and place for everything. When it comes to sport riding, the best and safest place to learn is a controlled environment like a track. Or, if you're more experienced, maybe you just want to refine your skills in order to rip through your local mountain range at a later date.

Learning Limitations

The more a rider can learn his or her bike, the better off that rider is going to be. When you don't have to worry about outside factors (like cars or cliffs), you can truly focus on learning what the motorcycle can or can't do. Now, we're not saying the track is meant for going out and doing a bunch of stupid shit, rather it's a good place to learn the motorcycle's limits, body positioning, and improving agility and reaction time.

What Has The Track Taught You?

Previously, we've gone over how not to look like a complete noob during your first days of track riding (though, everybody has to start somewhere, so there's nothing wrong with that), but we want to hear what you guys have learned.
