You Can Buy This Viper V10-Powered Motorcycle. Just Check Your Life Insurance Policy First

Real talk: Do any of you have a spare £100,000 to £150,000 (around US $131,968 to $195,521 at the time of writing) laying around? If you do, and you also happen to be shopping for an incredibly unique and well-known custom motorcycle, then I should probably tell you that Allen Millyard is selling his 2009 Millyard Viper V10. 

Yes, for real. He's really selling it. According to MCN, he needs to make room in his garage, almost like he's some kind of mere mortal or something. (Just imagine that!)

For those of you keen to tame this beast for yourselves, you'll be happy to know that it's completely registered and road-legal in the UK, and has over 9,000 miles on the clock. It makes a claimed 500 brake horsepower and 525 pound-feet of torque, and also holds a Guinness World Record after an incredibly fast (and no doubt equal parts exhilarating and terrifying) speed test hit 207 mph on an airstrip.

It took Millyard five full years to build this bike, after he'd acquired the engine from a Dodge Viper GTS in 2004. Naturally, just about everything on this bike had to be built to withstand the extreme stresses of handling the weight, power, and torque of that engine. Some parts are, of course, handmade, such as the exhaust headers. Other parts were repurposed from other things for this project, such as the shocks at the back donated by two Yamaha R1s. Special builds require special problemsolving, right?

At any rate, if you've long admired Millyard's work, and this Viper V10 in particular, your chance to own it for yourself has arrived at last. It's about to be part of the next British National Motorcycle Museum auction through H & H Classics, to be held on July 22, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time. There, it's expected to fetch anywhere between £100,000 and  £150,000, not including the buyer's premium and VAT.
