Bite-Sized Marc Márquez Documentaries Are Flooding YouTube, Time to Binge
There are two new Marc Marquez documentaries available to watch on YouTube. One is produced by TNT Sports and the other by MotoGP.
If you're anything like me, MotoGP withdrawal symptoms are at an all-time high. Images of the 2026 machinery are being released every few days, but we still have to wait until March 26 for the season to kick off at the Portimão race circuit. Fear not, though, as a couple of Marc Márquez documentaries quietly made their way onto YouTube over the past month, and they're the perfect length to consume with your lunch.
The first, and the documentary that I enjoyed the most, was produced by TNT Sports and titled, 'The Marc Marquez Documentary | One Of The Greatest Sporting Comebacks In History!'. The MotoGP commentators and reporters behind TNT Sports—Gavin Emmet, Michael Laverty, Neil Hodgson, Sylvain Guintoli, and Natalie Quirk—are the best in the business and give a relatable, human insight into what Márquez went through, more specifically during the 2019-2025 seasons.
The TNT Sports pundits back up their takes by including interviews with some of the sport's greatest riders, including Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa, Álex Márquez, Pecco Bagnaia, and Pol Espargaró. That's a list of riders who competed against Marc from about the age of 8-years-old, to a teammate in 2025.
This documentary just knocks on the door of Marc's most recent struggle and resurrection, and leaves you wanting more in the shape of a feature-length documentary. But, given the rise and fall, before the most recent rise and fall of Marc, you get the feeling now more than ever that a feature production about his story would be wasted unless it's made after he retires, as there seems to be as much hunger in the reigning champ as ever.
The second documentary was produced by MotoGP and is titled 'Marc Marquez: All on Red'. This documentary primarily follows Marc's most recent endeavor: the road to a factory Ducati seat. There are soundbites from practically the entire Ducati team, including Bagnaia.
The most engaging part of this production is found when you hold it up against the current rider market and consider what Marc gave up to get to the factory seat, and who might join him as a teammate in 2027 if Ducati doesn't re-sign Bagnaia. But whether you watch 'All on Red' or 'The Marc Marquez Documentary | One Of The Greatest Sporting Comebacks In History!' first, you won't be disappointed.
