ITP’s New UTV Tires Promise Improved Performance And Durability
Multiple compounds ensure grip and longevity across multiple terrain.
ITP might not be the flashiest name in the powersports world, but if you've ever pushed a UTV to its limits, chances are you've done it on their rubber. As one of the most trusted tire makers in the off-road scene, ITP has built its reputation on tires that practically beg for abuse.
The fact that they're the brand behind the factory tires on the Can-Am Maverick R, a machine known for pushing the boundaries of what side-by-sides can do, is more than enough proof for this.
That being said, ITP is looking to raise the bar even further with the launch of its new Savage tire line. This isn't just about keeping up with the demands of modern UTVs. It's about leading the charge and giving UTV users extra peace of mind, extra longevity, and better performance. Savage is designed for performance-focused riders who demand grip, durability, and control. And best of all, it’s not just for the Maverick R this time. It’s for everyone.
The Savage gets its toughness from an eight-ply construction with reinforced sidewalls. That’s similar to what you’d find on top-shelf off-road truck tires. Underneath, it uses a proven RG2 soft compound that’s been dialed in for optimal grip. The compound is now paired with ITP’s new Hyper-Adhesion Rubber Compound, or HARC for short. The result is a tire that grips harder, responds faster, and holds its own in the most gnarly terrain you can throw at it.
There are seven sizes in total, spread across nine different SKUs, so fitment won’t be a problem even for rigs with unusual setups. ITP made sure to include sizing that works with the Maverick R’s unique tire configuration, which speaks to how much thought they’ve put into this lineup.
This launch is more than just introducing another off-road tire; it’s about giving more riders access to race-ready, top-tier performance with everyday reliability. And I think that’s something anyone who rides or drives can relate to.
