There Are Two Aprilia Off-Road Experiences In 2026. Prepare To Get Dirty And Have Fun
Whether you want to go on an epic adventure riding and fly fishing adventure in the Colorado Rockies, or hone your offroad skills, Aprilia's got you.
Have you been waiting to find out what the 2026 Aprilia Tuareg Experience will be like? This year, it's taking place in the breathtaking state of Colorado. Good news, though: It's not just one experience, but two ... well, sort of.
What do I mean? The mega adventure is the Buffalo Run & Fly Fishing Expedition, which consists of two segments: the Buffalo Run (8 days of riding), and the optional Fly Fishing Excursion (an extra 3 days of fishing after the 8 days of riding). Participants will ride from Colorado Springs to Telluride on the provided Aprilia Tuareg 660 Rally fleet, through a mixture of high-altitude trails, mountain passes, and more through the iconic Rocky Mountain range. This Tuareg Experience is aimed solidly at experienced adventure riders.
After eight days of riding, the Fly Fishing Excursion will consist of three more days, guided by local fishing professionals in what's billed as "the most famous trout waters in the American West." This Tuareg Experience includes the use of a new Aprilia Tuareg 660 Rally, all accommodations, all meals, a pro support team, support vehicles, and a special End-of-Expedition Feast. If you opt to do the fly fishing add-on, a guide and all necessary equipment are also part of the package.
The Buffalo Run portion goes from July 30 through August 7, 2026. If you do the Fly Fishing Excursion too, the trip runs from July 30 through August 10, 2026. What if you want to spend some quality time with the Aprilia Tuareg 660 Rally, but you're more interested in a three-day offroad skills immersion course? Then what you're probably looking for is the Tuareg Experience Tech Camp, which will be offered on three separate occasions this August, each lasting three days apiece.
The Tech Camp will take place on trails around Taylor Park, and you can choose from the following three-day ranges: Module 1 (August 14 through 16, 2026), Module 2 (August 17 through 19, 2026), or Module 3 (August 20 through 22, 2026). When you're not riding, it's a full glamping experience, and opportunities to ride at your experience level will be at the forefront of the Tech Camp. This Tuareg Experience is aimed at riders of multiple experience levels, who wish to improve their off-road skills.
Participants will receive the use of an Aprilia Tuareg 660 Rally for the duration of the event, all accommodations in luxury bivouacs, all meals, a pro support team, support vehicles, and an Aprilia gift box with goggles, a jersey, a backpack, and a hat to commemorate the event. Early bird registration is listed in Euros for some reason, and is currently set at €2,250 (about US $2,624 at the time of writing).
