Feast Your Eyes On the New Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition
The bold blue with white accents is nicely done, but the real pièce de résistance is the sweet little tail cowl that turns it into a single-seater.
It's September, which means two things. One, all the kids are going back to school; and two, all the motorcycle and powersports manufacturers are deep into the cycle of rolling out their 2026 updates to get everyone hyped for all the new hotness.
Now, the bad (but probably unsurprising) news: The 2026 Suzuki Hayabusa isn't getting any major mechanical updates. But because we size bikes up with our eyes, your visual pleasure centers may be quite pleased to see how the 2026 Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition looks.
Because truly, it's quite easy on the eyes. Pearl Vigor Blue dominates the design, with key white accents and special little visual details all over to set it apart from the standard Hayabusa colorways.

What does the 2026 Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition get, exactly? The changes are mostly cosmetic, but it's nicely done. There is, of course, a Special Edition emblem right on the fuel tank, as well as a special decal only found on this edition. The front bodywork also gets a white molding (not just paint) to set off the blue. There's also a special muffler (full details not listed), as well as a tidy little single-seat cowl that pops right on top of the pillion seat for a super clean look.
That cowl, incidentally, will be issued as standard equipment with all Special Editions, apart from those sold in the Japanese market. Availability and pricing details aren't yet available, unfortunately; but it's something to keep an eye on if you're liking the way this Special Edition looks.

In the US, the current MSRP for the 2025 Suzuki Hayabusa starts at US $19,399, so it's safe to assume a slightly higher pricetag for the 2026 bikes, once they're announced. For what it's worth, the 2025 colorways available in the US are Metallic Matte Green/Metallic Matte Titanium Silver, Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Mystic Silver/Pearl Vigor Blue.
Here's hoping the 2026 lineup adds the Special Edition to our shores, as well.
