Klim has built its name on gear that works when conditions get tough. Based in Idaho and known for technical riding apparel, the brand has become a go-to for serious adventure riders, dual-sport explorers, and backcountry snowmobilers. The common thread? That thinking carries over into the second-generation Baja S4 series. This isn’t just summer gear—it’s a fully featured kit built specifically for hot, dry, and rugged conditions. The jacket and pants use Schoeller Dynatec mesh as their main material. It’s tough, tear-resistant, and flows a huge amount of air. Most of the outer shell is a single breathable layer, backed by a moisture-wicking liner. Even the pockets are laid out to avoid blocking airflow.

For added comfort, Klim integrates 1,000-denier Karbonite Micromesh in the stretch zones—around the shoulders, back, knees, and hips. These areas flex easily while still letting air in, which helps reduce fatigue during off-road riding. The jacket also includes a hydration pouch pocket designed to hold a 2-liter (0.53-gallon) Hydrapak bladder, ideal for long, dry rides.

Safety is a core part of the Baja S4’s build. Vented D3O Level 1 armor protects the back, shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. Superfabric covers high-impact zones with ceramic-plated abrasion panels, giving the Baja S4 serious road-ready protection while staying lightweight and flexible. The Baja S4 gloves follow a similar formula, with perforated leather and direct-vent knuckle armor to keep your hands cool and shielded.
