Pack Your Bags for Music and Motorcycles in Berlin
BMW's Pure and Crafted Festival returns for a third year with a line-up of good music and custom motos.
Pure and Crafted Festival to be Presented by BMW Motorrad
BMW Motorrad has announced the third annual hosting of its Pure and Crafted Festival will take place August 26-27 in Berlin. The event will be held at the Altes Kraftwerk Rummelsburg, a former power station whose industrial setting offers a showcase for fans of motorcycle culture, lifestyle and "down-to-earth guitar music."
Featured artists at the festival include Interpol (If you've ever been in a Brewdog pub you've definitely heard their music playing in the background – Ed.), Car Seat Headrest and Razz.
With its post-punk and new wave sound, Interpol are the headline act, featuring songs from their new album “Turn On The Bright Lights.” The Car Seat Headrest trio plays psychedelic electronic numbers alongside punk anthems.
But Pure and Crafted bills itself as more than a regular music festival. The spacious outdoor area will once again include an international custom bike show, as well as acrobatic performances at the Original Motodrom. The architecturally impressive machine room of the Altes Kraftwerk will feature numerous exhibitors and attractions as well as a food court. It's in Germany, so we expect the beer will be good.
While music lovers get their money´s worth on Saturday, Sunday will focus more on the theme of motorcycle culture and what BMW calls "New Heritage lifestyle."
"Pure and Crafted invites anyone with a sense of curiosity and adventure to experience the relaxed festival atmosphere," says BMW.
Festival tickets are now available for advance booking. Tickets for both days will set you back €24 (US $25.21), Saturday only is €19 ($19.96) and Sunday only €5 ($5.25). Tickets and more information can be found at www.pureandcrafted.com
