Triumph Is Going To Give Away a Really Cool Motorcycle For The Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride This Year

As we inch ever closer to this year's Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride, Triumph revealed that the grand prize this year will be a one‑off Speed Twin 1200 Café Racer DGR Edition. And that's a heckuva way of saying, "Thank you."

The Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride is one charity we at RideApart have routinely gotten behind, as support for men's mental health and prostate cancer research hits home on multiple fronts. One, our very own Robbie Bacon dealt with his own cancer issues a few years back, and I've fought my own mental health demons for decades now.

So the DGR and Triumph's support for those causes is a welcome one, to say the least.

And this year's event is shaping up to be one of the best ever, as not only are more cities involved, and more people, but Triumph just released what the grand Gentlefolk's prize will be for this year's event. Oh baby, is it a good one, too. How does a brand-new, but definitely old-school motorcycle sound?

It sounds like I need to enter the thing myself, to be honest.

"The DGR, taking place worldwide on Sunday, May 17th, brings riders together to raise funds for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research," states Triumph's press release, adding, "In 2025, 127,000 riders took part across 1,038 rides in 108 countries, raising an incredible $7.6M USD for Movember. As the event’s official motorcycle partner, Triumph continues its long-standing support of the global charity ride. To mark 15 years of riding dapper, Triumph has crafted this unique Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer as the Gentlefolk Prize."

The Gentlefolk Prize is one designed to give regular riders, not the event organizers themselves, a chance to win something cool and exciting. Those eligible only have to do four things, including: Complete the DGR rider profile, make a personal donation of some amount, make a donation to a random gentlefolk to earn the ‘Pay It Forward’ badge, and raise at least $250. That ain't much, folks, especially when you consider you'll be entered to win that glorious Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer.

It ain't a regular Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer either.

According to Triumph, the company also worked with the world-famous Harris Tweed company for a special one-of-a-kind Harris Tweed seat that comes with a certificate of authenticity, too. "Once all four badges are unlocked," states the company, "the rider is automatically entered into the random drawing. This means that any registered rider, anywhere in the world, has the chance to take home this unique DGR custom motorcycle."

Again, that's pretty darn cool, and helps support an organization that's helped raise nearly $10 million in its 15-year history. Here's hoping they cross that $10 million threshold this year, and with a prize like that Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer, I'm sure more folks will sign up and help raise money for the causes to get them over the line.
