Cheapest DOT Helmets For Sale Right Now
Need a lid but you have moths in your wallet where your money goes? We got you covered
Motorcycle gear is expensive, and really good motorcycle gear can cost as much or more than I paid for my first bike. It's worth the price though, you don't want to go cheaping out on safety. Something is better than nothing, though, and sometimes you have to make do with what you can afford, not what you want. If you're currently on a pretty tight budget and you need a lid, here are five solid, DOT-approved helmets you can buy right now for less than $100.
First and foremost, all of these helmets were chosen for their low, low price. They're not fancy, they're not brand name, and they're not from around here if you know what I mean. They all, however, meet or exceed DOT FMSV218 standard. At least that's what it says on the tin. They are the most basic helmets you can buy that are still ostensibly DOT-approved. Any cheaper and you're getting into novelty helmet territory. So, without further ado, let's check these cheapo lids out.
