Honda and Sanrio Collaborated On These Super Cute Monkey x Kuromi Side Panels
Crafted to fit every year of the Honda Monkey 125, these special, limited-edition side panels bring the adorable design elements of Kuromi to your ride.
It wasn't that long ago that I first told you about Honda's upcoming plans for its latest Sanrio collab, this time with one of my personal favorite characters, Kuromi. Last year, Honda teamed up with Hello Kitty to celebrate her 50th birthday (I know, I can't believe it either). But that was then, and now it's Kuromi time.
Do you own a Honda Monkey 125? If you do, or if you're planning on purchasing one in the near future, and you're a Kuromi fan, then you'll want to know about the Honda x Kuromi special, limited-edition side panel set that Team Red is about to make available for purchase for a limited time.
From October 31, 2025 through December 1, 2025, fans can purchase a set of Honda x Kuromi Monkey 125 side panels through authorized Honda dealers in Japan. The MSRP is ¥29,700, which works out to about US $202 at the time of writing. Be aware that this price does not include any installation or other costs, and is only the base price of these side panels.
You'll note, if you look at the close-up images above, that the side panels do not have matching designs. They're slightly different on each side, giving you more than one design to look at if you really like Kuromi. I don't currently have a Monkey, but if I did, I would certainly be tempted.
If you're in Japan and you like this Honda x Kuromi collab, and you don't have a Monkey, you can still have fun with it. Honda will also be displaying a special bike at ST TOKYO, just in front of Harajuku Station. There will be a special pop-up with the bike on display, so you can see the tank side panels in person. Lots of special-edition merch will also be available, and there were also be a limited number of special-edition Honda x Kuromi stickers in different designs to match the season, so there's plenty of reason to come back if you live in the area.
The Honda x Kuromi pop-up at ST TOKYO will run from October 1, 2025 through November 12, 2025, so you'll have a bit of time to plan your visit before it goes away forever.
