If you like the look of the new Ducati Panigale V4, then the Superleggera V4 is the Gucci to the Panigale’s Joe Fresh. After a few weeks of teasing, Ducati finally unveiled the latest addition to its highly exclusive and highly expensive Superleggera lineup, this time based on the V4 chassis.

The bike is a carbon-fiber-covered version of the entry-level model it emulates. The 998cc, V4 Desmosedici Stradale has been tuned to produce 224 horsepower which makes this Superleggera the most powerful production bike produced by the Casa di Borgo Panigale. Ducati says the bike weighs in at around 159 kg (350 pounds) which creates a 1.41 hp to kilo ratio. Like its superlight predecessors, the Superleggera V4 comes at a pretty penny with the leaked list of specifications placing the price point at $100k. Only 500 will be produced.
