The Rebel 300 is an entry-level model that doesn’t feel like one, something Honda generally is pretty good at. The bobber-looking cruiser is a recurring figure of any good starter or affordable cruiser list and has become a bit of a staple in the segment—even some riding schools use them as starters.

The bikes offers a high-quality finish and assembly and while the limits of the 286-cc, single-cylinder mill are easy to meet at highway speed, the Rebel offers plenty of low-range power and engaging riding dynamics. The upswept silhouette gives the bike a bit of a different look from other cruisers and an actually enjoyable personality on the road.

Pros: quality finish, great bobber design

Cons: underpowered
