According to an interview conducted with Ascanio Rodorigo, the Vyrus 986 M2 will retail for €25,000 when it goes on sale in September. Additionally, there’ll be a trackday version sold sans engine — €16,950 — while the Moto2 race version will go for €55,000. That’s actually, as Vyrus promised, seriously affordable. The Suter Moto2 bike costs €70,000 while Mapfre Aspar’s RSV cost €145,000.

There’s not an awful lot of specs on the 986 M2 yet, other than that in race trim it’ll make a Moto2 standard 134bhp and weigh a Moto2 standard 135kg.
