Do you know the Tail of the Dragon? A stretch of road that connects North Carolina to Tennessee south of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, with 318 curves in 11 miles and no driveways or intersections. But those of you who prefer the dirt roads over asphalt, might be excited to learn about (or already know about it), the Gravel Dragon. It's a trail close to Tail of the Dragon and Rev’It invites you to ride with them on it, this weekend, October 2nd, 2014.

This is short notice for the ride, so if you’re interested jump on it, now. REV’IT! and RawHyde Adventures are teaming up with the Overland Expo East (check back for coverage here at RideApart) for a group ride on the Gravel Dragon, through the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, outside of Asheville, North Carolina. It mimics the path of the Tail of the Dragon, with turn after turn of scenic wilderness.
