Aprilia releases an off road version of the Caponord.
Aprilia released a new Rally edition of the Caponord 1200 at the Intermot show in Germany. With an almost 1200 CC V-Twin, Aprilia Traction Control, Dynamic Damping, Ride-by-Wire, and Cruise Control it is a full-featured adventure styled bike, now with more capability for all-road travel.
There is already a travel pack version of the Caponord coming to the US market. That version has integrated saddlebags, hand guards, adjustable windscreen, and Aprilia's ADD suspension. The Rally looks like it adds some additional upper crash protection along with wire spoke wheels, auxilliary LED lights, larger wind screen and a bash plate.

The front wheel diameter increases from 17 to 19 inches in the front, making it more in line with other "off road" adventure bikes. The integrated luggage appears to have been designed by Givi which should make getting parts and adding other accessories easier.

Several different color options are also new for the Rally edition. The Giallo Dune you see here, with Verde Army, and Grigio Safari color options as well. That would be yellow, green, and grey for those, like me, who don't speak Italian. No pricing yet and this may end up being a Euro only model.
