Italian parts purveyor gives live audiences a glimpse into the processes behind some of today’s elite customs.

Seventeen years after brothers Fabio and Fabrizio Rigolio first started Rizoma, the Italian company’s products have become common features on high-end street bikes, track day weapons, and custom builds. While historically its primary target demographic has been focused on race and track enthusiasts, the increasingly widespread use of Rizoma’s parts on professional-grade customs has prompted the company to capitalize on the ubiquitous use of its parts in the customs scene by introducing the ‘Behind the Build” series.

Each leg of the touring five-part series features a panel of big-name builders sharing their respective insights into their design processes live on stage. Along with the presentation, audience members can questions via an organized Q&A. Behind the Build kicks off on February 10 at the famous One Moto Show in Portland, Oregon. After that, it travels on to other noteworthy motorcycle shows including the Mama Tried Show in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the OG Moto Show in Los Angeles, California, Revival Cycle’s Handbuilt Show in Austin, Texas, and then finally the Brooklyn Invitational.

“The American custom motorcycle scene is full of talented artisans and vibrant characters. We feel there is a big opportunity to showcase the quality of work these individuals put out, and at the same time shed a spotlight on the quality of Rizoma products. The community interest and potential to tap into this passion is tremendous.” stated Rizoma/REV’IT! USA's Director of Operations Paolo Bacchiarello.

The Portland leg of the trip will spotlight a handful of prominent names in the customs scene such as Alex Earle of Earle Motors, Mark Atkinson of SOC (aka Speed of Cheese) Racing, Craig Rodsmith of Rodsmith Customs, and friend of RideApart, Hugo Eccles of Untitled Motorcycles.

“The One Show is a unique time for admiring all the design creativity, passion, and hard efforts these builders put into their works. I am happy and excited to participate in something that sheds a bit more light into the work that goes into them,” said design legend and Portland BtB host Miguel Galluzzi.
