Watch as Nick Offerman sings a song reminding us why we love NASCAR (that's to say, you do love NASCAR), for being a beating-and-banging, fist-fights-in-the-garage type of sport (that's to say, you call it a sport).

NASCAR has become too cookie cutter and this latest advertisement brings that perfectly, while still showing there's hope for the sport.

My favorite part of the commercial are the jokes about fighting—considering how said fights ended with serious driver fines. While those fines came from NASCAR and this is an NBC commercial, at least NBC can admit it for what it is.

NASCAR was born from rough and tough Americans who settled differences with bent fenders and thrown fists, and half the audience was there to see just that. It's refreshing to see a commercial that pokes fun at what it advertises—its fans and its sport—without worrying about being too sensitive.
