Dainese will have an exhibit for the first time at the upcoming CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas.
Dainese is set to exhibit for the first time at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Jan. 5-8. The Italian firm will display its line of D-air wearable airbag products at booth 42760.
While the CES show is primarily devoted to consumer software and electronic innovations, Dainese saw the opportunity to present its technology now in wide use among MotoGP racers and athletes in the Alpine Skiing World Cup Series. The stand-alone, wireless D-air platform employs electronic sensors in the racing suit’s back hump or back protector. The system recognizes an impending crash and deploys the airbag within milliseconds.
“We’re very excited to showcase our D-air technology at CES,” said Dainese USA VP Roberto Sadowsky. “D-air products are already making big races in the action-sports world, where they successfully protect athletes from injury on a regular basis.”
